| In the unfortunate event of an on-water emergency, have peace of mind knowing that help just a one button push away. By simply depressing the dedicated emergency SOS button for 3 seconds, a flash, high priority satellite message will be sent directly to the SeaKey Response Center. With SeaKey v2.0 you can send a secondary message via the Operator Module to tell us the exact nature of your emergency.
Once your SOS is sent, the SeaKey Response Center is called into action. With knowledge of your SOS, as well as your exact position, heading and speed as well as many other details about your boat, including length, color and type we can provide the Coast Guard with accurate information to get you immediate help.
With SeaKey v2.0 you will receive notification that your message has been send and acknowledged by the Response Center. Additionally, you, the Response Center and your family members can communicate via satellite email to provide the highest degree of accurate up to date information.
The Response Center will continually monitor you position, update the Coast Guard as well as loved ones.
SeaKey is not a replacement for other types of security equipment (such as an EPIRB); however, SeaKey can provide you with quick, easy emergency notification capabilities directly from your boat when you need it most.
Note: SeaKey® has its own internal battery so in the event your boat looses battery power your SeaKey unit can still transmit an SOS message. |
